Oh hey!
When I'm not photographing, in my spare time... who am I kidding? I'm a working mama. There's no such thing as free time, haha. (Shout out to all the other rockstar mamas out there!) My oldest two kids, William and his sister Riley, inherited their father's red hair. They're the cutest little gingers you've ever seen! Our newest addition, Claire, was born in May of 2022 and has completed our family in the most beautiful way! I try to be as intentional as possible in photographing my own kids because I've realized how fast time is flying and I want to cherish every single minute. They are my pride and joy! My favorite memories in life were the moments they were placed on my chest and I met them for the first time. Life with kids is so unbelievably beautiful.
I'm pretend that I know what I'm doing with acrylic paint and blank canvases. I write music, play music, and listen to music. I'm most definitely a self-proclaimed music hipster. If the musician or band I like hits the radio, forget it! I'm done with them! Haha...just because I like to go against the flow. I vocally lead up the band at my home church from behind the keyboard. The church my husband and I attend is called Thrive, and it's a huge part of our lives. We are so proud to be a part of the mission as well as the family of Thrive Church.
Speaking of family, both sides of our families have become our friends. I cherish every moment spent with them. We actually ventured out to Europe with my brother and his wife, and after three and a half weeks and nine countries, we still like each other! I love reading the Outlander novel series and watching the show, especially after hitting up all the hotspots in the actual country of Scotland. That means that anything to do with Sam Heughan, Scotland, or whiskey, will definitely take up my free time.
If you haven't guessed it, I'm in love with traveling the globe and capturing the endless cultures the world has to offer. Whether it's day trips to discover hidden parts of New York City, flying to Ireland for a week, or discovering all of Europe, I'm in my glory.
I'm a coffee connoisseur. (or so I'd like to think) I'm a soundtrack nerd. Plants have invaded every room in my home. I flip furniture for fun. Essential oils are a staple in this home.
I'm the happy wife to my darling husband, Christopher, who is seriously such a gem. Our story is a crazy adventure, but it's ours and I love it. We absolutely love exploring together and experiencing the world around us, no matter how near or far. Since our incredible October 2014 wedding in New England, I have fallen more and more in love with Chris and who we are as a team. I would be lost without him. My favorite part about our lives is that it's together. Our marriage mission statement is to be the change we want to see in the world. Easy enough, right?
My relationship with Christ is the most important part of my life and I strive to honor him in everything that I accomplish in life, including my photography business. My life's purpose is to make his name and his love known, and that I would portray it through the way that I live my life and the way that I love people.
